Help the Family in the USA and in Haiti

I fell victims of financial scamming around the time we were trying to get my mother off the Island of Haiti. We never thought this would happen to us in a millions years.

In February, we experienced a horrible financial disaster. All our savings were wiped out from our account. Unfortunately, by the time we realized the scam and informed the bank/authorities it was too late. We unsuccessfully argued with bank but they informed us that they have a specific timeframe to pursue a dispute with the merchant. The disputed transactions fell beyond that timeframe. As a result, They must respectfully decline our request for reimbursement and recommend that we seek an alternate means of recovery.

The money that was in our savings account took us years to save up and we planned to buy a house with that money so we can move my mom in. My mom lived on the island of Haiti along with two siblings. I praying for peace and healing in Haiti but due to the socio economical crisis and very sad and horrible events unfolding there right now, it is no longer safe for my family to stay. Through a lot of immigration work my mom has finally been approved to leave the island to come to the US. Part of the plan is to welcome her to our home. This is no longer possible due to the financial loss we had recently.

We are sharing our story with our friends, family, community and colleagues in hope of support. The fund will be used to buy a house as planned in order to move my mom and my siblings from the island. No donation is too big or small. Every contribution is appreciated.

My mom was able to successfully fly into the US for a temporary stay.
