Help Todd Tipton and Family

Hello all,

I along with some friends are putting together a Go Fund Me for my brother Todd and his family, wife Kara and three beautiful children Asher, Juliet, and Norah. If you know my brother and family, they have spent their entire lives in service. They have been missionaries around the world and have dedicated their lives to helping others. They specialize in helping teens and young adults but are there for anyone in need. They have always been the first ones to help without questions or judgment. They live modestly so that they can share with others and help in any way needed.

In 2020 Todd started his journey with cancer. He was diagnosed with a large cancerous mass around his colon. After extensive surgery and chemo treatments over a long period of time the cancer was gone. As a family we were extremely grateful to God for his healing. However, this took a tremendous toll on my brother and his family emotionally and financially. They have done the best they can to pay off the medical bills but are still working on them today, and as you know hospitals and doctors can be very costly. Two months ago, Todd was not feeling well and went in for a checkup. Unfortunately, the medical team ended up finding some cancerous cells that had spread to his liver. Todd is now going through round two of another cancer bout. He will need extensive chemo treatments and surgery. The prognosis of survival is good which we are all thankful for, but the financial burden on him and his family is not good. They are still paying off bills from the last bout and now are looking conservatively at about $50,000 out of pocket in bills even with insurance. Todd and family are doing their best to hold their heads up, be strong, and stay afloat. He still has amazing faith that God will take care of their needs. Sometimes God’s way of helping is through others. We are starting this Go Fund Me to help alleviate some of the financial burden and stress that comes along with it. I know our goal is lofty as medical expenses are outrageous, but any little bit helps. I ask if you can find it in your heart that you have some extra to donate, they would be extremely grateful. We are hoping to make this less stressful and let Todd focus on healing. If you can’t give, we understand and all we ask is for you to send a prayer or positive vibe their way.
