Help Toes get surgery for his gum lesions
Donation protected
When our cat, Toes, was diagnosed with severe gum lesions earlier this year, my husband and I promptly scheduled his surgery. Unfortunately, there is a vet shortage here in New Mexico, meaning clinics across the state are fully booked, not taking in new patients, and charging a hefty price for any veterinarian service. After waiting six months, his appointment day arrived, and we were told his case was so severe that the minimum cost of the procedure would start at $1,500. With our cost of living, medical bills, and student debt, this minimum is far beyond our maximum budget. If you know me personally, you know how much animals mean to me, especially my own. If we can't get this procedure done, we will be forced to surrender him to a shelter. No pet owner wants to lose their furry companion. Therefore, any funds raised will go directly to paying for his treatment to supplement what we can afford.
