Help Tommy Carvalho's legal defense vs. State HI

Tommy Carvalho from a very young age has struggled with mental disabilities that he was born with that range from mild to severe.  Autism, dyslexia, and ADHD made school & social interactions very difficult leading to a serious of unfortunate events. Tommy was sent to Honolulu so that he may receive proper care but we are sad to say that under the care of the State of Hawaii Tommy was mistreated, abused, & misunderstood. Leading us to this fundraiser- We ask  you kindly to please PRAY, SHARE, & donate anything within your ability. The entire Carvalho Ohana wants to bring Tommy home (Kauai) but in order for this to happen we must get him a fair trail which requires an attorney that specializes in Mental Health cases so the State of Hawaii will release him back to our care. During this uneasy time due to COVID-19 our family has struggled financially & cannot afford to pay an attorney to give him a fair trial. We are seeking justice, healing, & proper representation. Our Family fears that without the love & care that we can only provide for him, he will NEVER receive the attention & guidance to rehabilitate his life. Tommy has been in Honolulu going on 5 years now w/o family & under inhumane conditions which has been difficult for us to accept and is completely heartbreaking. Tommy is a kind, loving, and smart individual who has been lacking the appropriate care he requires for too long. This is not only a campaign to help Tommy acquire effective treatment and trial but also an effort to spread consciousness on the State of Hawaii's  lack of management and mislead approach to treat mental illness. 100% of the donations will go directly towards Tommy's attorney retainer and fees.
