Help Tomoko Okazaki Rebuild After Theft
Donation protected
Aloha, Jim Winniman here. Our friend Tomoko Okazaki had her car stolen along with many of her most valuable worldly possessions.
Anyone that knows Tomoko knows she is the most caring, compassionate and generous person. She is not only loved throughout Hawaii but around the world.
She would kill me if she knew I was rallying the troops to help her. Her car has broken down three times in the last few weeks so the idiot that stole it may be doing her a favor there. However, she also lost her wallet, boards, foils and who knows what else. It cost many thousands to replace.
There is always a chance that something could be recovered but regardless it's a perfect opportunity to give back to a sister that so selflessly gives to her community at every opportunity that she gets. And, she needs a better vehicle anyway!
Needless to say, she will get every penny donated here. I've set the initial goal at $25,000 in hopes that she can upgrade a vehicle. I will start the ball rolling by donating $500. Any amount is helpful. You can donate anonymously if you prefer but I think it'll be fun and I'm sure heartwarming for Tomoko to see and feel the love.
I know Tomoko will scold me for doing this and all I can say is, sorry T, NOT.
