Help Toni Scalera Rebuild After Fire
Donation protected
"I don't know what to say. I'm still in shock. The horrific fire destroyed my home and everything I owned." This was Toni Scalera's heartbreaking response when I called her yesterday (January 7th).
My name is Pat Craig, Executive Director of the world's largest Lion, Tiger, and Bear Sanctuary, a non-profit that relies on compassionate individuals like Toni.
Toni, a dedicated volunteer at our Sanctuary for over a decade, spent her life helping others. Now, she desperately needs our help.
Forced from her Altadena, CA home at 3:00 AM by raging wildfires, Toni, a retired senior citizen living on a limited income, lost everything except the clothes on her back and her beloved cat.
Like countless others affected by these devastating fires, Toni must rebuild her life from scratch.
Known for her gentle spirit and unwavering generosity, Toni is like family to all of us at The Wild Animal Sanctuary. We deeply miss her.
After moving to California to be closer to her son and grandchildren, her life was tragically disrupted by these fires.
Now, heartbroken and uncertain about the future, Toni needs our support.
Please join me in donating to this Go Fund Me account to help Toni rebuild her life!
All monies donated will go to Toni so she can find a place to rent and put a roof over her head again. In addition, she will use the funds to purchase clothes and the basic necessities that are needed to live alone. It will definitely take a lot of money to rebuild her life, but for now, we hope to raise enough to get her back on her feet.
I have been the Director of The Wild Animal Sanctuary in Colorado for more than 45 years and promise that every donation given will be given to Toni for her much needed recovery.
