Hello friends! My name is Rie. This fundraiser is for the most beloved person in my life, and beloved in many others- Anthony Truzzolino.

Over the last year, Tony has been getting consistently more and more sick. Initial attempts to discover the root of the cause got nowhere- he was getting bounced around from specialist to specialist, each one giving little to no clarity on finding the root of the problem. In moving states, we sought care, only to be met with the same, and sometimes worse, treatment. We were told, through insurance, the wait for appointment would be over one year- time we do not have. As time passes, Tony gets sicker and sicker. It is so, so scary, and so, so frustrating, and we need help. A current, minimal-wait MRI is $2500, and we are hoping to raise as close to that as possible. From there, we would be able to find direction through this frankly terrifying path.

Many of you know Tony, and many of you love him. All for good reason. He is a dynamic, down-to-earth person who could make a stone laugh. Vocalist of his band Tired Radio, many of the people reading this will know how his lyrics, sound, and self resonated deeply within them. You relate to him, because he so easily relates to you- through the darkest times of the soul, he will be there, singing you through it. "Everybody's hurting" is a sentiment he's lived by and spread to others, and now he is, physically. Together we can help him through it. He is wickedly smart, crazy silly, a bright light shining in the darkness that we're all in, and is so, so loved. He is also crazy stubborn, which is why I am making this gofundme for him.

We all know how horrible the insurance industry is, so hopefully this will help ease the way through. It is enough to have to deal with this illness on the daily, it wears him so thin, so if you can donate, share, finish reading this, thank you, truly.
