Help Tonya Fight Stage 4 Cancer

Hi everyone,

I am writing this to you all on behalf of my Nana, many of you know her as Tonya. In June of 2024, we received the saddening news that she was diagnosed with bladder cancer. Soon after her diagnosis, she began chemotherapy to prepare for a major surgery that upcoming November. We were under the impression and hopeful that this surgery would put an end to her battle with cancer.

Unfortunately, on the day of the surgery, they evaluated that the cancer had spread to other organs at this point. Despite the endless hours of chemotherapy and pain she had gone through to prepare, the doctors were no longer able to go on with the surgery. This is when we received the news that the cancer has developed into an aggressive stage 4 and the only thing that can be done to prolong her life for the next 6 months to 2 years is to receive immunotherapy treatments.

Anyone that knows my Nana has been graced to know her giving heart. She is a wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to all.

My Nana started her immunotherapy treatments this month (January). She also is having to undergo specialty testing in the next few weeks to see if there’s anything that can be done to possibly slow down the cancer. As all of you may know, medical expenses aren’t cheap. She has been out of work for about 7 months now and things are beginning to add up financially on her end.

We are asking for any donations big or small. These donations will go towards the upcoming specialty cancer testing, past and future medical expenses, and her weekly doctor visits.
