Tootsie Roll is a sweet seal point cat that was on the brink of death (and still is) when we got her a few days ago. She’s only 2 years old, and weighs just 3 lbs. Right now we are trying to get very high blood glucose levels under control, and work on her weight. She’s so very skinny! It is hard to tell with her long hair, but every bone just protrudes.
We took Tootsie Roll in as a foster in our small town rescue, but her extremely high needs and our limited resources have drained both the rescue and our personal resources. We need help to recover the rescues funds, our own funds, and future care needs. She has had 3 vet visits and needs care every hour, but even though she is feeling so poorly in her body, she just keeps fighting.
