Help Tororo Uganda's Lacrosse Program Grow

"Hello, my name is Jordy Almgren, and I’m passionate about the growth of lacrosse. This sport, with its deep roots in Indigenous cultures, particularly the Haudenosaunee Confederacy, has shaped who I am. It’s more than just a game; it’s a sacred gift, passed down through generations.
I’ve dedicated my life to lacrosse—as a player, coach, referee, and parent. Now, I want to give back. After careful research, I’ve identified a community in Tororo, Uganda, where lacrosse is making a profound impact. They’re using this beautiful sport to build community, develop young talent, and even create pathways to American colleges.
But they need our help. They lack essential equipment, quality coaching, transportation to tournaments, and educational resources for their in-house school.
And here’s the exciting part: Lacrosse is an Olympic sport in 2028! To make this a truly global event, we need to support emerging lacrosse nations like Uganda. By investing in their program, we’re not just helping young athletes; we're contributing to the future of lacrosse worldwide.
Your donation, no matter how small, can make a big difference. It could provide a new stick, a pair of cleats, or even a scholarship. Together, we can empower these young athletes and inspire the next generation of lacrosse stars.
Please watch the video to learn more about this incredible initiative. Your support will help us grow the game and make a lasting impact on the lives of these young people.
Thank you for your generosity and your passion for the sport
