Help towards Maggie Q's Cardiac Medical Bills

Maggie Q's Mum will tell you her story...

My beautiful Maggie Q, what can I say?

I fell in love with her the moment I saw her, she was spunky, full of life and so much fun, and she had such a beautiful face and the best smile ever. I absolutely adore my beautiful girl.

Ten years have gone by, and that's hard to believe. On September 20th 2022, Maggie Q had excessive diarrhoea most of the day. In the evening she collapsed while drinking some water. We rushed her immediately to the Emergency Veterinary Hospital where she was assessed and examined by the doctor and she was placed into an oxygen cage to help with her breathing. The doctor determined based on her findings that Maggie Q needed further tests and should be seen by a specialist cardiologist.

On September 21st, all of the required tests were conducted and she saw the specialists. The cardiologist explained that Maggie Q has a rare, severe advanced heart condition. Her prognosis I'm afraid to say is day by day.

We brought Maggie Q home on September 22nd where she is comfortable and we can give her all our love and attention. It's great that she is back in her home that she loves.

Maggie Q's expenses have added up quickly and continued medical expenses will be ongoing due to 3 different medications she needs for life, as well as further follow-ups with her regular vet and the specialist cardiologist.

We understand that times are hard right now for everyone, and we appreciate any help that you can give no matter how small. We are doing our best to give Maggie Q the best quality of life for however long she has left with us.
