Help towards Tony Gough’s Funeral Costs

My name is Allan Taylor and I have started this fundraiser to help Tony’s family arrange a funeral. The death was unexpected and Tony was sadly out of work and was not in a position to financially prepare for a funeral.

The UK government will assist with some of the funds and that is something I will explore with the family. The exact cost of the funeral is currently unknown so I’ve based the amount on an average cost, I will update this as and when we get more info.

Our lovely friend, Tony suffered several strokes which hospitalised him on Sunday, unfortunately he deteriorated very quickly and we have received the devastating news from the hospital today to tell us that Tony has passed away.

As I am sure you will understand the family are deeply saddened by this sudden news and we should respect their privacy.

Tony will always be remembered so fondly by everyone who had the pleasure to know him. He was a fantastic escape artist and a long-standing member of the (UKEA) United Kingdom Escape Artists but most of all,

he always greeted everyone he came across with a smile (and sometimes a nail up his nose ) he was incredibly motivated by his love for escapology and enjoyed street performing for many years.
