Help Tracy's Family Through This Crisis

In the early morning hours of Saturday April 19th, my fiancé’s dad and my future father in law, Tracy Waddell, was shot in the back of the head by a couple in Augusta, Georgia seeking to rob him. He was immediately taken to a Shock Trauma ICU unit where he has remained unresponsive and in critical condition ever since. While the doctors are unsure if it was one or two shots, the wounds ultimately went through both hemispheres of the brain, causing devastating damage. Tracy is fighting, but his care team is not optimistic about survival. In the event he pulls through, they are unsure of how extensive his care would be, but he would likely need full time support for the rest of his days.

Brianna and her mom need support to cover potential costs associated with this situation. Dee Corley, Brianna’s mom and Tracy’s long time partner, is also disabled and unable to care for him in the event he can make a recovery. Brianna and I are the sole individuals with the power to help him at this moment. We appreciate any donations, prayers, and thoughtful words as we approach this with as much optimism as we can given the severity of it all. This has been a devastating few days for us, and as we stay in the hospital to fight alongside him, we just have to pray that his team continues to exhaust all our avenues.
