Help Train a Seizure Alert Dog for Alyssa

For those of you that don't know Alyssa she was diagnosed in the military with a seizure disorder that lead her to be medically discharged from the Navy after serving 6 years. At times Alyssa struggles with seizures that make life for her very difficult and dangerous. Alyssa is unaware when a seizure is coming on and with the help of a seizure alert dog, he can alert Alyssa based on her behaviors that she is about to have a seizure. We are asking for your help and support with getting our dog, Mack, trained to be a registered seizure alert dog which will give Alyssa more of her independence back and our family a sense of hope and relief. Purchasing a service dogs can take up to a couple years with waiting lists and costs up to $20,000-50,000, which is why we have chosen to purchase our own dog and put him through training with Medical Mutts here in Indianapolis, IN.
