Help Trans Elder Living with Brain Cancer

UPDATE FROM KAY (JANUARY 11TH 2022):

Hi, Kay here,

The latest update is I have been diagnosed with Stage Four brain cancer (Glioblastoma) which, though incurable, can be treated.
I have discovered that I am an ideal candidate for a six week treatment of combined radiotherapy and chemotherapy that could extend my life significantly.
I have therefore decided to begin the treatment in two weeks time when the tailored package becomes available for me.  Thank you for your support it, has been invaluable during these surreal times.
Please continue to share this campaign, as any future support will go towards making the most of the time I have left.

-Kay

DEC 11TH 2021:
Kay is now at home on a regimen of steroids to impede the symptoms of the brain tumor.
She still has limited mobility and needs consistent care which thanks to part of the contributions I can provide without needing to work this month.
I'm expanding the goal for this campaign now in the hopes that we can raise some more funds towards making Kay's life easier and more comfortable.
Thanks again!

ORIGINAL INFO:
Hey there and thank you for reading.
Kay is an artist, performer, mother to four pets, and stalwart of the London scene.
After making the life-changing decision to begin her transition earlier this year, her newfound happiness and freedom was interrupted on the 23rd of November when she suffered a mini-stroke (we since discovered the stroke symptoms were caused by a brain tumor).
Luckily, she seems to have avoided permanent damage but day to day is still dealing with reduced function in her arms and legs.
She often needs help to get onto her feet, dress, and can't make her own meals or visit shops due to her impaired function.
Because of this, I've been staying with her since she returned from the hospital so she isn't alone in the recovery process.
She's had to take time off work without being entirely sure how long this recovery process will be, and with what pay.
I myself have taken one or two shifts off work and would like to take a couple more to avoid the risk of leaving her alone, but the financial stress on both of us is a cause of more worry.

Any contribution we receive will go towards medications, groceries, and most importantly to help both of us keep up with respective bills and rent while Kay works towards getting back to being the beautiful, brilliant trans woman she proudly is.

Thank you, and please share.
