URGENT: Help Maraika, a Palestinian trans woman from Gaza

Hello friends, I am Beth Barnes, a United States citizen. I created this campaign for my Palestinian friend Mody (nicknamed Maraika), 29 years old.

Maraika is a cake artist, talented in cake decoration, who has been working as pastry chef for 11 years. Since the Israeli occupation of Gaza began, Maraika has now lost the job, her car, her home, and some of her relatives.

Born as a man but living as a woman, Maraika’s life in Gaza is very difficult because the people of Gaza are committed, religious, and very strict. They do not accept her differences, so Maraika wants to hide her data here for fear that someone will harm her.

Marika loves women's clothes, makeup, and nails, and she loves making cakes so much. She has been exposed to a lot of problems from childhood until now. She was beaten, insulted, and even r*ped. This was all before the war.

But after the war, Maraika’s life became like a nightmare, because this life is very harsh and tiring. Miraika is now suffering from psychological disorders, inability to sleep, and unwillingness to eat. She literally lost everything and wishes to leave Gaza with her family, who are 7 people, 4 sisters, 2 boys, and their mother. They now live in Deir al-Balah after being displaced from North Gaza 5 times and live in a tent. Life in Gaza is very expensive and money transfer fees are very high; sometimes they need $1500 a week to survive as a big family.

Unable to fight to get water

Please help Maraika reach her goal in the shortest possible time so that no one in Gaza knows about her, because this is a danger to her life and the lives of her family. She hesitated a lot in asking for help from the world, but she has no other choice.
