Help Travis and Erin Rebuild after Hurricane Helene

Hello everyone,

Travis, Poppy, and I are recent victims of the devastating Hurricane Helene that has already taken countless lives and decimated our beloved home of Asheville, NC. We are so grateful that we were able to evacuate the city unharmed after 6 days of no power or water, completely trapped in our home due to 2 fallen trees and a "fence" of power lines making any exit impossible. We understand how lucky we are to have been able to evacuate physically unharmed, however the financial toll rebuilding is going to take was a stress we were not expecting.

Travis spoke with our insurance company today and because we don't have a "before" photo of all of the food and supplies we lost due to the storm, they will not be processing a claim for us.

We are getting married next October in Lake Lure, NC, however that town was also completely destroyed, and we have not heard word yet if our venue even exists, let alone if the town will have roads accessible any time soon. We are expecting to lose our entire non-refundable deposit.

We are planning on using the funds to replace the food and supplies lost, to purchase supplies and a generator to have in the future in case something like this happens again, a safety net for our expected lost wedding deposits, and the inflation the city will be seeing over the next few months as we all attempt to rebuild.
