Help Travis Heal and Support His Family

This guy right here - a consummate provider and protector - will probably be upset that I have done this for him, because he doesn’t ask for anything. However, a sister does what she needs to do in a dire situation. This is my brother Travis Hull. A skilled carpenter with a successful construction business; who shares a bright and hilarious 6-year-old son with a beautiful and loving fiancé, and a baby girl due this November. This guy doesn’t have an enemy in the world and would do anything to help someone else. And now, as he lays in an ICU bed, he really could use your help.

A trip with a friend to experience Sturgis turned into an unprovoked nightmare that will change his life in ways we cannot comprehend. As he and his friend waited for a ride back to camp in the early hours of August 3, 2024, a man punched him to the ground, followed by 7 other members of that group joining in to kick him in the head. They left him unconscious and seizing on the ground and simply walked away.

Two ambulance rides got him to a hospital capable of treating his head trauma and we are now finishing our 7th day in its ICU. Travis has multiple bleeds in his brain and a large fracture in his skull. He also has no movement in his left foot. He has an extremely long road of recovery ahead of him, including months in an inpatient rehab facility, and a carpenter that cannot use one of his feet cannot work. A carpenter that cannot work, cannot support his growing family.

We need your help. Help to cover the medical bills that will be flowing in for months on end at costs that are unimaginable. Help to cover their simple cost of living so they can carry on each day without the stress and worry impeding his healing. And we need your prayers: that Travis will be patient and accepting of the control he has lost over his body and of his profession, and that he will make strides in his recovery so that he can return to being the most amazing and involved father that he has always been as soon as possible.
