HELP Travis Triumph Over X-Linked ALD

Meet Travis Dean Foland, A handsome 5 year-old boy who loves trains, cars and climbing. He is always full of energy and always ready for an adventure along side his brother Connor .
Earlier this year, his family received a heartbreaking diagnosis—Travis has Adrenoleukodystrophy (ALD), a rare and fatal genetic disease that affects 1 in 18,000 people. This degenerative brain disorder destroys myelin, the protective sheath that surrounds the brain's nerve cells that allow us to think and to control our muscles.Travis was originally diagnosed with Addisons only ALD which is the the least devastating of the different types of ALD, but after his most recent MRI the doctors found lesions starting to form within his brain. This means his ALD has progressed to the most severe type which is the Cerebral Type X-Linked ALD and if his symptoms are allowed grow worse, he will eventually experience loss of eyesight and hearing , seizures, loss of muscle control, and progressive dementia. Sadly, this downward spiral will lead to permanent disability or death within 2-5 years. However there is hope , with it being caught at such an early stage there is a procedure of a bone marrow transplant that can help stop the progression of his disease.
We are starting this fundraiser to help off set the expenses of going to Minnesota for the procedure and recovery afterwards. Currently we are still waiting on the confirmation from the insurance company to find out if they will cover the cost of the actual procedure. This will be hard on Travis and our family in so many ways; emotionally, physically, and financially. Please help support Travis's fight against ALD. Every little bit helps alleviate the financial stress so that our family can focus on Travis. We appreciate all prayers, love, support, and anything else that you can do to help with the fight.
