Help treat Bennie's heartworm

Sweet Bennie kept himself and his daughter Roxie safe for months on the mean streets of Cleveland TX, through the February freeze and 100F temperatures, while other dogs around them succumbed to the weather, disease and starvation, were stabbed, shot and intentionally hit by cars. Through all this, he and Roxie remained sweet dogs.

They are finally off the streets as of June 18. But poor Bennie has been infected by heartworm, from being exposed to infected mosquitoes for months.

His heartworm treatment is estimated to cost about $300 USD, plus he and Roxie need to be neutered/spayed on short notice, at higher cost than usual, so they can catch June 30 transport to BC.
