Help Trent Blessing overcome medical expenses

Donation protected
I am making this GoFundMe for my dear friend Heather Novinskie & her fiancé Trent Blessing. Please take time to read the details below.

In August, Trent was taken to the Emergency Room for what was expected a recurrent condition of pancreatitis. However, upon hospitalization, it was discovered that he in fact had a Portal Vein Thrombosis.
Portal vein thrombosis (PVT) is a blood clot that forms in the portal vein, which is the blood vessel that carries blood from the intestines to the liver. PVT can cause a number of issues, including: Reduced blood supply: PVT can reduce the amount of blood that reaches the liver.
Increased pressure: PVT can increase the pressure in the portal vein system.
Complications: PVT can lead to complications such as portal hypertension, which can cause vomiting blood, rectal bleeding, and an enlarged spleen.
Along with the pancreatitis, PVT, and abdominal sepsis; Trent was also in early stages of kidney failure. Upon discharge from the hospital it was discovered that Trent was dropped by his insurance two days prior to hospitalization.

On Monday, September 23, Trent was rushed to the emergency room once again, this time with extreme abdominal pain, shortness of breath and severe abdominal distention. Trent was transferred from Southwest Health in Platteville to SSM St. Mary’s in Madison where he currently is being treated. Upon further examination and many scans and other tests it was found that Trent was losing a lot of blood and had to have several liters of blood removed from his abdomen along with other “yuck” as the doctors explained it. Trent is currently fighting for his life, along with the love and support of his fiancé, and their families.

While a real diagnosis has yet to be determined the burden of travel expenses, medical expenses, time away from work, living costs, food expenses, and monthly home expenses are all becoming quite heavy on the shoulders of Trent’s fiancé, Heather, who is also juggling caring for their four fur babies, Archie, Winnie, Molly, & Bailey.
Trent and Heather were planning a December 2024 wedding and due to the medical expenses, and other unforeseen expenses have decided to postpone their wedding as medications, bills, and travel to and from doctor appointments have used up most of their wedding savings. What should be a time of celebrating new and exciting wedding plans has taken a turn for the worse of planning possible extended healthcare expenses.

At this time Trent is still uninsured and will be billed as private pay- and these expenses will continue to grow by the thousands for his life saving measures.
