Help Trey Herty Recover From The Tornado
Donation protected
Hello Friends!
If you are reading this post, you likely know Trey Herty. Trey has been a friend and the mastermind behind much of our menu at Brown Butter Southern Kitchen and Bar. Trey started with us in 2015-2017, and recently returned as our Chef De Cuisine back in June 2021.
Trey lives on Friscoville Ave in Arabi, LA. Last night at 7:45 PM, Trey's house was destroyed by a tornado. We are happy to report that Trey, and his beloved dog, Rocco, are safe and sound. He was watching the satellite images on the news and realized that the tornado was headed right towards his house. He promptly scooped Rocco up, and they took shelter in the hallway. After the tornado had passed, Trey came out of the hallway, only to realize that his entire roof had blown completely off his house. The ceiling fell in, and debris was everywhere.
Anyone who knows Trey knows that he has a heart of gold. Trey is the kind of fella that would do anything for anyone. He's also not the type to ask for help, but he could really use the assistance right now. He works his tail off and it shows in his work. All of the smoked and cured meats that you enjoy here at Brown Butter, are handmade by Trey and our talented team.
Trey has a long road ahead of him, and the uncertainty about where he will live long or short term has to be unsettling. Every dollar of this Go Fund Me campaign will be going towards Trey's recovery and getting him back on his feet.
We appreciate any offerings that you might be able to make. If you can't donate, please don't fret! It would mean the world to us if you could just share this campaign.
Thank you all so much for your love and consideration!
