Help Tricia and Don rebuild after Lytton Fire
Hello kind people! My name is Melissa and I have been living in Lytton for the past 8 years. My husband grew up here, and we are heartbroken at the loss so many of our friends and neighbours have experienced. Our close friends Tricia and Don had a beautiful little farm just up the road from town with goats, sheep, alpaca, chickens, dogs. Everything burned to the ground when the Lytton fire raged through, but miraculously some of their animals survived, including all 9 of their precious puppies (pictured above after they were rescued).
They would probably have stayed to fight the fire to the bitter end to save their animals, but instead of trying to save their own home they rushed down into the chaos and worked to help evacuate people from town. They have hearts of solid gold, and it would mean so much to me and my family if you could help give them a boost as they rebuild their lives from scratch.
Thank you so much!
