Help Tricia with Medical Bills & Living Expenses

Hi! For those of you who don't know me, my name is Tricia. I'm a 35 year old woman from Lansing, Michigan. I love my city, and I love being active, performing and writing comedy with my friends at Quality Scary + Lansing Facts, and my job as a bartender at the REO Town Pub. A few weeks ago, I was riding my bicycle on the Lansing River Trail, an activity I used to do nearly every day, when I hit some construction on the trail that caused me to lose control of my bike. I don't remember anything that happened, but I remember laying on the side of the track with my head in some bramble bushes, unable to move, blood all over my face. An ambulance took me to the hospital where they informed me I would need surgery on my leg. It took me a few days to regain my memories because they also told me that I'd suffered a concussion that day. Thanks to my amazing surgeon Dr. McDermott and the folks at Sparrow Hospital, I have a sweet metal rod in my leg, and they say I will regain normal movement within three to six months. Unfortunately, this means that my life is seriously changed while I recover. I cannot walk on my own. I still need help to do small, insignificant things, like bathing, going to the bathroom, and changing my clothes. I lost one of my jobs as a result. Luckily, because of my wonderful bosses at REO Town Pub I can come back to work whenever I'm able, but right now, I am unable to perform the tasks that being a bartender requires of me.
Turns out, an unplanned vacation to Sparrow Hospital is wildly outside my budget as an uninsured person with two jobs, and not being able to work those jobs makes me feel scared and unsure about the future. Please consider helping me get through these next few months while I recover by donating to my gofundme; any amount you can spare is greatly appreciated.
Thank you all so much! With love, Tricia
