On September 17th 2019, Tripp was unexpectedly diagnosed with Stage 4 Colorectal Cancer that has spread to other places. A team of doctors will be meeting the week of September 23rd to discuss treatment. Aggressive chemotherapy and radiation will start as soon as possible, with the possibility of surgery in the future.
At 48 years of age, Tripp is married to Crystal McCauley Turner and together they have two girls, Layton and Isley. Layton is a 10th grader at Western Alamance High School and Isley is a Sophomore at North Carolina State University. Tripp is incredibly positive, optimistic, and ready to fight this long and hard battle. Unfortunately, the costs of treatment are tremendously expensive and as a family friend, we want to relieve some of the financial burden that they are going to face. Tripp is self-employed and Crystal is an elementary school teacher. Both Tripp and Crystal are avid Carolina Shag Dancers and play a major role in the Shag community.
If you can help in any way to offset the cost of this terrible disease, Tripp and his family will forever be grateful. Please feel free to share this campaign and send their family lots of love, positive vibes, words of encouragement, and most importantly PRAYERS! ALL proceeds will go directly to the Turner family. Thank you for taking the time to read and share this!
