Help Trish Fulfill Tony's Lifesaving Wish

At the request of Tonys daughter McKenzie I am adding to their story…
On September 28th, 2024, Tony Rodisel passed away due to complications from cardiomyopathy and cardiac arrest. What was supposed to be a cruise with his loving wife of 33 years, Trish Rodisel, turned into tragedy. This however was not the first time that Tony’s heart stopped. In 2018 he suffered his first cardiac arrest while at work. With the quick thinking of his coworkers, and even more importantly the use of an onsite AED, he was saved which allowed him to live another 5, almost 6, beautiful years, with his family. Enough to walk his daughter down the aisle and have his dream vacation in Alaska. During the last years of his life, Tony had a goal of placing more AEDs in local sports facilities, such as his local bowling alley in order to save more lives, just as his had been saved before. Some of Tony’s coworkers asked How can I help? What can I do? Is there a gofund me page? In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations in order to raise money to purchase and donate AEDs to local sports facilities, at the very least, his favorite bowling alley, Star Lanes of Sandusky. Any further money raised will be used to help family with funeral expenses, including the costly expense of transporting Tony home from the cruise ship port in New York to the funeral home in Sandusky Ohio, where the service will be held. Thank you all so much!
