Trish Rodriguez has Lupus & needs a transplant!

Hi my name is Stephanie and I am raising funds to help Trish in her fight against Lupus. Trish is 21 years old and attends college in Florida. Her mother Lupita is my life long best friend since we were 8 years old. They are family to me. Her father Peter, and brother Jeffrey, are both there at the hospital. Everyone is missing work, and school, to be by her side. Trish was diagnosed with Lupus in high school. She's had many challenging complications since her diagnosis. She is now admitted to a hospital in Florida with kidney and heart failure due to this horrible disease. She is in need of a kidney transplant. She had to have a port placed in her chest for blood transfusions and medications.

Lupus is an inflammatory disease caused when the immune system attacks its own tissues.

Lupus (SLE) can affect the joints, skin, kidneys, blood cells, brain, heart, and lungs. Treatment can help, but this condition can't be cured.
