Tristan Price Cello Support

Hello there! My name is Tristan Price and I’m a 17-year-old Upper (11th grader) at Phillips Exeter Academy on full financial need-based scholarship. For as long as I can remember, music has been my passion! Since I was 5 years old I have been studying the cello as my primary instrument. Despite these almost 13 years of playing cello, I have never before owned an instrument. Now I have an opportunity for that to change. I have the chance to purchase a cello of my own from Robertson and Sons of Albequerque, NM. I played this cello this summer and I immediately fell in love with it. The only problem is that there is no way I can pay for it myself! That is why I am posting this Go Fund Me. I am trying to raise $6,000 dollars which will cover the cost of the cello, a bow, and a case. As soon as my goal is reached I will deactivate the Go Fund Me, and use the money for the purchase. I know that that’s a lot of money, but if everyone contributes some, then we can reach it. I have included a video of my most recent performance and a few pictures of me playing cello.
