Help Trixie Recover from Tragic Accident

Trixie Armenta experienced an unfortunate accident last Sunday, October 20: while shopping at Costco with her husband and son, she realized she had forgotten her purse in the car and went back to get it. She was walking through the parking lot when an elderly driver, backing out, lost control of his vehicle, crashing his car into Trixie and pinning her against the wall. As a result, she suffered serious injuries to her leg that led to the amputation of her foot.

Fortunately, Trixie is stable and recovering, but the road ahead will be long and challenging. We want to join forces to support her and her family in this difficult time, helping with medical expenses and the rehabilitation process she will face in the coming months.

There are things, like this accident, that unfortunately are not within anyone's control, but it is within our control how we respond and take action to help. Today we have the opportunity to help Trixie overcome this challenge and show her that she is not alone.

Nuestra querida amiga Trixie Armenta ha vivido un desafortunado accidente el pasado domingo 20 de octubre: mientras se disponía a hacer compras en Costco con su esposo y su hijo, se dio cuenta de que había olvidado la cartera en el carro y regresó a buscarla. Caminaba por el estacionamiento cuando un conductor de la tercera edad, al salir en reversa, perdió el control de su vehículo, impactando su auto contra Trixie y prensándola contra la pared. Como resultado, sufrió graves heridas en la pierna que llevaron a la amputación de su pie.

Afortunadamente, Trixie está estable y recuperándose, pero el camino que tiene por delante será largo y desafiante. Queremos unir fuerzas para apoyarla a ella y a su familia en este momento tan difícil, ayudando con los gastos médicos y el proceso de rehabilitación que enfrentará en los próximos meses.

Hay cosas, como este accidente, que desafortunadamente no están dentro del control de nadie, pero sí está en nuestro control cómo responder y tomar acción para ayudar. Hoy tenemos la oportunidad de ayudar a Trixie a superar este reto y demostrarle que no está sola.
