Help Troops 667 & 1667 Replace Stolen Trailer
On Friday, August 6th, the equipment trailer belonging to Scouts BSA Troops 667 and 1667 of Rancho Peñasquitos, CA was reported stolen from the parking lot of their charter organization, St. Timothy's Episcopal Church. This trailer was used to transport the gear needed for Troop outings and activities, including camping. Making the theft more painful was the fact that much of the gear used by the Scouts was inside the trailer at the time it was stolen. The gear and the trailer had been donated to the Troops, during a time when fundraising was difficult and finances were tight. The loss of the trailer and the gear inside may limit the troops' abilities to offer as many opportunities for outings as they could previously.
The Troops are hoping to raise enough money to replace the trailer. Any funds raised over the limit will be used to also replace the gear inside so all Scouts are able to participate in future events.
