Help Troy and Becky Recover from Tragic Accident
Donation protected
We’re reaching out with a heavy heart to share that on Saturday, November 9th, our father and step mother, Troy and Becky Traversie, were involved in a devastating motorcycle accident. Their bike collided with a car and, upon impact, burst into flames.
Becky was thrown from the motorcycle, suffering multiple broken bones—including both compound and non-compound fractures in her legs and ankles. She lost a significant amount of blood but has successfully undergone surgeries. She's now bravely working towards walking again in the next 10-12 weeks.
Troy was caught in the fire and sustained third-degree burns over 77% of his body. He's been in a medically induced coma for the past two weeks. While he's stable and showing signs of progress, he requires continuous, specialized care due to the severity of his burns. We hope he'll transition off the ventilator in the coming weeks and begin to communicate with us again. In addition to his burns, he has a dislocated and fractured hip that still requires surgery. This is going to be a journey for his recovery with new skin, ongoing surgeries and much more.
Our family is facing an incredibly challenging road ahead. Those who know Troy and Becky understand the warmth and kindness they bring to everyone around them. They've always been the first to offer help, share a smile, and lift others up in times of need.
Now, they need our support. We're humbly asking for your help to cover mounting medical costs, rehabilitation expenses, and the many other challenges that lie ahead on their journey to healing.
Any contribution, no matter how small, will make a meaningful difference and mean the world to our family. If you're unable to donate, sharing this page and keeping Troy and Becky in your thoughts and prayers would also be a tremendous help.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your compassion and generosity during this difficult time. We will try to keep this page updated periodically to keep everyone updated with their progress.
There is still no visitations at this time but hoping for that to change very soon.
