Help Troy Strike Out Cancer
Troy Iturralde, an honorable son, typical older brother, incredibly loyal friend, and a dedicated academic who throws a mean slider, was recently diagnosed with cancer. You can imagine and may be experiencing all the emotions that is involved with such a diagnosis for a 16 year old, his family, and the greater community. This news is still fresh with treatment and family needs still being determined. Our amazing community has a deep loving desire to help out and do what is needed. For this is a situation that has struck deep and is calling us to action. This is a platform that can both meet our personal needs to contribute to a level of healing and to give the family some financial assistance as they navigate this journey. Like with any parent, the idea of being on the receiving end of a GoFund Me page, for your child, is not where one would like to be, however, we felt it is necessary.
Troy and his family have been overwhelmed with the outpouring of support and love during this very difficult time. Aside from the immediate emotional requirements, the Iturraldes are being faced with a financial shift. This shift ranges from altered to no work hours to mounting medical bills. This is a reality that is not going away any time soon, Please give what you are comfortable with and every bit helps and is much appreciated.
Troy is a Western Little League Alumni and a current Tucson High Badger.
