Help Truffles get a much needed surgery
Donation protected
Meet truffles, a playful border collie cross with a gentle nature and a passion for treats. Truffles and her human companion, Pete, are regulars at Lyne Road Reserve of an afternoon but recently Truffles injured a leg and hasn't been able to get out much.
Truffles will need surgery to repair a ligament in her injured leg and treatment is eye-wateringly expensive - generally in the range of $4,000-$6,000.
A local vet has offered to do the ligament repair at a discounted fee of $2,500 however, for Pete who lives on the senior's pension, even this reduced fee is totally out of reach.
We know that cost of living pressures are impacting so many right now so any small donation would be greatly appreciated. Every cent raised will go to getting truffles the surgery she needs and related pain relief.
