Help Trynity get IVIG
Donation protected
On May 23 2014, Trynity was diagnosed with strep throat just like most children in the 2nd grade around that time. On May 24 2014 her parents woke up to a different child. At just 7yrs old she was having intrusive thoughts, she was unable to look at, sit next to, or even hug her parents because of these thoughts. Over the next week Trynity started having panic episodes that would last for hrs, she couldn't sleep, and she started developing facial tics.
At the time this was all happening my sister would call the Dr and watold there was nothing they could do for her. They wouldn't even see her. They were just left in the dark wondering what had happened to their very happy, loving, outgoing child.
Months later, after much research, they found out about PANDAS- Pediatric Autoimmune Disorder Associated with Strep and have been on an uphill battle with providers, mulitple medications, diet changes, and therapy over the last 4yrs. They have a provider now who not only understands PANDAS, but also knows how to treat it. Trynity has not responded well to a lot of the medication and the next step is IVIG.
The neurologist has ordered the IVIG treatment however, the insurance company has denied the resquest and all appeals. This treatment is costly and there is a chance that she may require more than one infusion.
I'm asking for assistance in helping Trynity get the funds so that she may have a chance to find that inner child locked behind her intrusive thoughts, tics, anxiety, and OCD. Please help if you can. Thank you
