Help Tubafour compete in Valencia, Spain

Hello! We are the Tubafour quartet, from the University of Oklahoma. We have been invited to compete in Valencia, Spain for the upcoming 2025 International Tuba Euphonium Conference (ITEC). We would greatly appreciate any help we can get to fund this expensive endeavor, and spread the word if you can!

About us: We were first brought together in 2023 by our professor. That year, we were semifinalists for the ITEC small ensemble competition in Tempe, Arizona, where we were the only fully undergraduate quartet to qualify. The following year, we were fortunate to be the winners of the 2024 SERTEC ensemble competition in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Together, we have traveled across the region, giving performances at universities and for the community, while enjoying the unique foods. The tubas, Evan Dommer and Fernando Cardenas, are both performance majors seeking to pursue their music careers after graduating. The euphoniums, Isaiah Crawford and Candice Neel, are music education majors with aspirations to teach the youth, the latter being interested in performance as well.

Tubafour has a special bond that we truly believe is the reason for our musical success and growth. Inside and outside of the quartet, we share a connection as lifelong friends. Outside of rehearsals, we regularly get together and play Mario Kart, attend each other's weddings, and goof around. 2025 is anticipated to be our last year together as a quartet due to graduating members moving on in life. We are aiming to end with a bang performing and representing OU in Spain.
