Help Tucson Roller Derby travel to CA!

Tucson Roller Derby has been invited to participate in the 2023 Cosmo Chaos Invitational in Oakland, CA for three days at the end of September. This will be the first time that TRD has travelled for roller derby since the pandemic began in 2020. Travel for derby has always been a hard financial burden on leagues and members, even more so currently with inflation and a difficult economic climate. Our goal is to be able to cover $500 each for a total of 20 league members who will be going on this trip. This would go towards round trip airfare and accommodations for 4 nights. If we don’t hit that goal, we will use the funds to prioritize covering the expenses for those members with the highest need. Any amount of support that we receive will help alleviate the burden for our members. Tucson Roller Derby is a volunteer-run 501c3 community organization, and one of the oldest roller derby leagues in the country.
