I’m reaching out to you with a heartfelt plea to support my dear friend and mother of my daughter Heather, and her three wonderful children, Josef, Eli and Scarlett. Recently, their lives were turned upside down by a devastating fire that destroyed their home and most of their belongings.

On Thursday August 8th, 2024, a fire broke out in their apartment with no warning. In just minutes, the flames engulfed their home, leaving them with nothing but the clothes on their backs. Thankfully, they managed to escape unharmed, but the emotional and physical toll has been immense.

The immediate aftermath was chaotic and terrifying. Heather and the children found themselves without a place to call home, relying on the generosity of family for temporary shelter. They’ve lost not only their home but also cherished memories and personal belongings that can never be replaced.

Despite the overwhelming loss, Heather has shown incredible strength and determination to keep her family together and positive. The children, though shaken, have displayed remarkable resilience, supporting each other through this challenging time.
