This season 12 lady Raiders broke the barrier and created a name for Twin Valley Cheer!
For those who may not know, youth through high school level cheerleading doesn’t end after football is over! Competition cheer continues on as late as the following year in May! Competition cheer is a strict, physical sport that consists of tumbling, stunting and fast paced dance that is physically challenging at times.
On January 28th, the Twin Valley Youth cheer competition team competed in a cheerleading competition and placed as first place champions in their division. The team earned two gold bids with their championship title! One bid provides them a partial paid bid to THE FINALE championship the Kalahari resort, and their second bid is for a larger championship hosted in four separate locations around the country!
The team will be accepting their bid to THE FINALE at the Kalahari resort in the Poconos on April 16 and 17th, however we need any and all help to get the kids to the championship in Virginia Beach or Orlando! All funds raised will help the girls with travel costs, hotel stays and registration fees.
THE ONE Cheer & Dance Finals is a unique, end-of-season event offered to Cheer and Dance Teams. North America's TOP Event Producer companies will award the top 3 placing teams with exclusive bids to The ONE Finals. Bid teams may choose to compete in any of the Finals locations with the winning teams. Unlike any other end-of-season event, Bids to THE ONE are not handed out to thousands of teams. You have to be among the BEST in your division at participating bid events to qualify for THE ONE. This exclusivity makes earning a bid and or being crowned THE ONE a true reward for a seasons long team work, dedication and victory!
This Youth team started their hard dedicated work in April 2022 at tryouts to make the squad. The team started coming to voluntary conditioning nights in July, and started two weeknight practices in August. On a September weekend, the team spent 17 long hours learning choreography. In October the girls competed at a competition taking fist place in their division, “most creative stunts”, Best halftime routine and received the highest halftime score on the entire day out of ALL the teams!
This team is non stop and continuing to represent Twin Valley with hard work, commitment, dedication and literal blood, sweat and tears! Please consider helping these kids reach their goal and make their cheer dream come true and finish out their season with a BANG!
