Help Twine's Pyometra Recovery

I was able to visit with her this afternoon and she was not doing well. She struggled to keep her eyes open and was relieving her bladder right where she was without even aknowledging it. The vet staff is hopeful that she will make a full recovery, but it is just going slow. She did take a few licks of baby food from me, which was a step in the right direction. 

Due to the surgery being in the middle of the night as well as some extra bloodwork and tests that needed to be run due to an unusual platelet count, the bill is very high. As of Sunday night, the quote sat at $8,000. I'm not sure if it has gone up or down since then but I can only assume that the extended nights in the ICU under close monitoring has brought things up. I have already put down a $5,000 deposit - I am setting that as my goal here. 

I am willing to do anything for this dog. I will sell my house if I have to. I am fortunate enough to have care credit to cover the initial costs, but I am incredibly stressed about what life looks like when I have to start paying it all back. This is all happening on top of missing a week and a half of work - unpaid - due to covid earlier this month. Again, I will make it work, that is a commitment that I made to Twine the day that I picked her up. I am only asking for help to get through the stress of it all. 

I am not one to normally ask for help, especially financially. All I ask is that you send your positive energy our way and keep Twine in your thoughts. But if you would like to help out financially, I wanted to provide a place for people to do that.
