Help Two Brothers Regain After Hurricane
Donation protected
Hi! We’re two brothers, ages 16 and 13, who started our own art business a year ago (Fire & Brush Art) We live just a few miles north of Asheville, NC. We’ve worked hard to create unique, nature-inspired artwork like driftwood sculptures, crochet pieces, and paintings. Over the past year, we’ve grown a lot and were excited about where our business was heading, as we are using this business to help us fund our future education and more.
Then Hurricane Helene hit our hometown two months ago, and everything changed. The storm destroyed one of the local Asheville businesses where we sold our art, wiping out our inventory and the money we’d invested in those pieces. Several of the art shows we relied on for sales were canceled, and others were already full, so we couldn’t get in. When we tried to travel to a show further away, we didn’t sell enough to cover the trip and lost even more money.
We’re raising funds to help us rebuild after these setbacks. Your support will allow us to create new art, get back into shows, get funding for advertising, and continue doing what we love. Any amount is greatly appreciated, and if you can’t donate, sharing our story would mean the world to us.
How the funds will be used:
- Purchasing supplies to create more art.
- Funding advertising to get the word out.
- Fund consignment and vendor fees to get art into stores and at shows.
- Purchases of equipment needed for artwork creation.
- Funding website fees.
Thank you for helping us keep our dream alive!
