Help two local Taekwondo athletes go to Worlds!!

Hello everyone!! We are starting this fundraiser on behalf of the two athletes pictured above,

James Mayo and Elisha Rayne Ibaldez, Two local international-level Olympic Taekwondo athletes from Virginia Beach, VA.

These two athletes have been training at Grant's Chesapeake Taekwondo for almost seven years. In that span of time, these two athletes have achieved #1 rank in the country, won multiple championships, locally, nationally, internationally, and now more recently, became 2 of 20 athletes selected to be on the national team and represent the USA at the World Taekwondo Championships in Sofia, Bulgaria, as well as the Panam Championships in Costa Rica. So, naturally, we were beyond excited that two local athletes from Virginia Beach could accomplish such a fete. We have worked tirelessly to achieve this goal day in and day out. But, with this comes the unfortunate circumstance we find ourselves in...

Due to recovering from the pandemic, USA Taekwondo cannot fund our athletes' travels to these events, putting our athletes' dreams of winning a world championship in jeopardy. We are looking to help the families of these two athletes get their kids to Bulgaria and Costa Rica, as well as ease the financial burden that this situation puts them in.

All donations and proceeds will go to the two families of these athletes to help with their travel to Panam and World Championships, respectively. We appreciate your taking the time to read our story.
