Hazar, a two-year-old little girl, and her baby brother Hazem, should be going to school. They should be playing with other kids their age, without the fear of getting killed, without the constant noise of bombs, without being faced with the constant spread of dangerous disease, when there’s almost no available medicine.
But that's not their reality. These two young children have to live through an ongoing genocide, while their mom, Riham, a 26-year-old nurse, tries her best to give a happy childhood to her kids.
She managed to find a workshop where she and her babies can live. It's not the flat her children deserve, but it's better than living in a tent or living in the streets.
Living in the street would put Hazem and Hazar through even harder living conditions, without any walls to shelter them from the cold, the rain, or the sun. It means being more exposed to sickness too, when medicine is very hard to find and very expensive.
Unfortunately, even a small workshop is expensive: Riham has to give 500$ for rent every month. As you can imagine, trying to gain money in Gaza is extremely hard because of the constant bombing. Riham is currently volunteering as a nutrition specialist, in the hope of finding a job, but job positions are rare.
That's when your donations are essential: by giving to this fundraiser, you allow Riham to keep her children sheltered.
We set the goal of this fundraiser to 6000$, because attaining this amount would guarantee one year of shelter for Riham and her family. One year with a little bit of peace of mind in the hell Hazar and Hazem have to live through every day.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read this.
Any donations help, even 5$. If ten people give 5$, it means 50$, which is a huge help already.
If you have the means to, please consider becoming a monthly donor: it gives a little bit of financial stability to Riham and her kids.
If you can't donate, sharing is extremely useful: by sharing, you allow people who can donate to see this fundraiser and donate.
Thank you for standing with the people of Palestine, thank you for not forgetting them. We'll never forget your help.
