Help Ty On His Journey Home

Donation protected
Hi everyone, I hate having to write this story as just a few days prior Ty and Jen made the trip out to Vegas to be with me and my fiancé on a special day not knowing how quickly life can change for anyone in the blink of an eye.

On Saturday June 8th just like most weekends in the summer Ty spent the day going golfing at Shelter Valley in Grafton, 8 friends having a great day golfing ending in disaster when on a hilly 17th hole the golf cart lost control going down a hill ejecting Ty from the cart which ended up landing on him. The passenger with him was able to get the cart off of him and to call down to the rest of the group for help, luckily a member of the group with knowledge of what to do in these situations jumped right into action until paramedics could arrive.

Ty had to be airlifted to Sunnybrook hospital where he had emergency surgery to fix a broken spine where he remains due to complications and trauma to the body that comes with having this surgery done.

Even after Ty gets out of the hospital which a date is not known at this time he will head over to a rehabilitation centre where he will live for up to 4 months.

With bills piling up as he is unable to work and his girlfriend by his side everyday and his family making trips from Port Hope into Toronto im asking for some help to relieve the financial pressure of not just Ty, but also his family. Ty has a long journey ahead of him even after rehabilitation, Ty has to return home where projects have to be done to make the home more accessible for him to get around so I'm asking for his friends and the community to donate to the cause

Anyone who knows Ty would know that he would give the shirt of his back for a friend or family member in need, when not working often times spent out with friends, family and his girlfriend could light up the room just through conversation.

I know Ty would want to give a special shout out to Chris and Tanner who if they weren't quick to act he fears this accident would be worse.

Let's try and make Ty's journey home as easy as we can on him and his family.
