Help Tyler Attend the 2023 BSA National Jamboree

Hello, my name is Tyler.

I am a Scout from Troop 33 in West Trenton, NJ. I am raising money to attend the 2023 Boy Scout National Jamboree at the Summit Bechtel Reserve in Glen Jean, West Virginia. I am participating in multiple fundraising campaigns to raise the $2,400 necessary to attend the Jamboree. I have less than ten months to reach my goal, and I am looking for people to help support me in my adventure.

I became a Cub Scout in September 2014. In 2019, I bridged over to Scouts, and I just earned the rank of Star. In May of 2022, I became a member of the Order of the Arrow, the honor society of the Boy Scouts of America, composed of Scouts and Scouters who best exemplify the Scout Oath and Law in their daily lives as elected by their peers.

I love scouting because of all the opportunities and adventures it has provided me. Experiences through troop camping trips, summer camps, and performing service hours to support my community and other Scouts with their Eagle projects. I have also had the opportunity to visit historical places and travel to new areas. In addition, I have learned various skills that will help me throughout my life (cooking, first aid, physical fitness, time management, teamwork, and leadership). And having fun while hiking, fishing, & archery.

National Jamboree occurs every four years, making this my only opportunity as a youth participant to experience such an event. Attending this ten-day outing will allow me to build on my character and leadership development, citizenship training, communication skills, personal growth, and physical fitness. Finally, have fun and make some lifelong memories.

Through all my fundraising efforts, I hope to raise enough money to send myself and assist other scouts in attending. Any contribution would be greatly appreciated.
