Support Tyler and his recovery from pneumonia

On September 21st Tyler was admitted to the hospital for a very serious case of pneumonia. His body has taken a major hit and his heart has been working overtime to keep up. Unfortunately his oxygen levels dropped dangerously low and a visit to the ER turned into a long term stay at the hospital. He is now on required bed rest, oxygen assistance and a list of medications to get him back to his normal self. He's become weak since losing 45lbs and his lungs have a long road of recovery ahead. Tomorrow (10/13/23) marks 2 weeks of hospitalized care and his doctors are uncertain when he will return home. Although he's had a rough month of pain and loss, he is NOT giving up.

It's been 3 weeks since Tyler has been able to return to his serving job, which requires him to be healthy. He's getting amazing care at Integris Baptist Medical Center but he is quickly falling behind on his financial responsibilities at home. Many friends and family have reached out for updates and are asking how to help and there are two ways.
First and foremost, your positive energy and thoughts are what have been keeping Tyler optimistic. This disease has made it easy dip to a low mental state but Tyler has been flooded with love and support from his close circle around him.
Secondly, Tyler is going to suffer financial strain due to his disease. The stress to keep up with bills is becoming a lot. If you are able, you can contribute here to help fill the gaps over the next few months while he transitions to assisted living.
- UPDATE for his friends and family....
Tyler has had a couple of unexpected turns happen since the last update on Go Fund Me.

Tyler has now been in the hospital for 3 weeks. They transferred him to the Intensive Care Unit to receive better care. They did more tests and scans to see if his pneumonia had cleared but unfortunately it had not. The fevers he's been fighting back to back daily had become a lot for his body. On Sunday 10/22 Dr's decided it would be best for him to be intubated and placed on a ventilator. His family sat by his side the entire time!
Tyler made huge progress while intubated. His vitals stayed steady and strong throughout the entire process. Dr's were happy with his strides and extubated him on Wednesday 10/25. He's been conscious ever since and getting stronger by the day. His body is showing major signs that he is healing and progressing. 10/25 was the best day they've had in a while.
After fully awake, Tyler participated in a healing sound bath. It was a peaceful experience for him. The most beautiful rainbow glowed over Oklahoma City that same evening. What a special day!

• UPDATE #3 for his friends and family....
Tyler has made a huge recovery. Ever since waking from the ventilator he has shown every green flag of progress. His oxygen is normal, his pneumonia has gotten better, he’s no longer having fevers, he’s clearly stronger… and the fight seems to be almost over! Today (11/7/23) he was released from the hospital care and approved for home living. This is INCREDIBLE news for Tyler! Being in and out of the hospital the last 6 weeks has been redundant and tiring. These next few months at home will allow Tyler to fully heal!

Thank you again to everyone who’s been checking on him! The calls, texts, in-person visits and especially the financial help is very appreciated!
Peace and Love, Tyler
