Support Tyrese Haynes' Family During This Time Of Crisis

On the evening of July 12, 2024, two teens went swimming in the ocean at Litchfield By The Sea after work and only one made it safely back to shore. This is what it looked like when I arrived. Many people standing with heavy hearts looking towards the ocean. One family in the middle hugging each other tightly. Our hearts are breaking for them. If you would like to make a financial contribution to the family as the search continues, you can do it through this GoFundMe page and I'll make sure 100% of funds received gets to them. I will write the family a check directly once these funds are transferred to me. I do not know Tyrese Haynes' family personally but many of my youth do and I can connect with them through them. I'm also working closely with another local Youth Pastor that is friends with the family.

UPDATE - Georgetown County Coroner Chase Ridgeway has confirmed that the body of Tyrese Haynes, 17, of Murrells Inlet was found near Huntington Beach State Park on Saturday, July 13.
