Help Tyrone Brooks Kick Cancer in the Butt!

We are reaching out to you on behalf of our dear friend and Dance Theatre of Harlem family member Tyrone Brooks. He is facing an extremely challenging time in his life. He has recently been diagnosed with cancer and is unable to work due to the severity of his condition.

For ten years, Tyrone has been the passionate and dedicated Artistic Director of the Tallahassee Ballet. His love for dance and his artists is unparalleled and he is eager to return to his job post-treatment. However, the financial burden of his medical bills and living expenses during this 3-month period of unemployment is overwhelming. Your donation will help alleviate some of the financial stress he is experiencing. We believe that no one should have to worry about finances while fighting for their life.

Your generosity will not only help cover some of the expenses that he will have to travel to Jacksonville, Florida to the prestigious Mayo Clinic for Cancer Research for treatment, but also ensure that he can focus on his recovery without the added stress of financial hardship. His prognosis is good.
