Help Tyrone McCandies Battle Colon Cancer!!!

Hello everyone. The high school classmates, college classmates, fraternity members, friends, and family of Tyrone McCandies are joining forces to indeed help Tyrone and his lovely wife Raven, and their son Tre, with medical and other out-of-pocket expenses related to Tyrone’s battle with colon cancer.

After experiencing some digestive issues in March of 2021, physicians suggested that he schedule a colonoscopy. The findings of the procedure however came with a shock in that he was diagnosed with Stage IV colon cancer. His medical team quickly went into action and performed surgery the following week to remove a tumor within his colon. Later, another surgery was performed to remove a blockage within his colon. He later found out that cancer had spread to his abdominal lining. In June of 2022, Tyrone began full chemotherapy treatments and as of late, he’s been having his chemo treatments provided via pill form. (We'll provide additional updates throughout his treatments).

We are joining together and trusting that God will meet all of their financial needs.

To know Tyrone is to love Tyrone! He is now and has been in the past, a shining light in everyone's life. He has dedicated his working life thus far to being an educator ever since graduating from Howard University in 2001. From years on staff as an educator and coach at Kettering Middle School in Upper Marlboro, MD., to years of being a proud and faithful member of Phi Beta Sigma, he has served the public with his life.
