Help Provide Food and Hope to Ugandan Orphans

Hi there,

My name is Ronald, and for over a decade, I've been working tirelessly with local orphans in my hometown of Kabale, Uganda. In 2017, we established the Smiling Hearts Orphanage Rubanda with a mission to provide love, care, and a bright future to the children in need.

In the early days, I financed the orphanage by working closely with tourists who shared our passion for helping these vulnerable kids. Then came the unexpected challenge of the COVID-19 pandemic, which forced us to adapt to new ways of supporting our beloved orphanage. That's when we took a leap of faith and set up our very first GoFundMe page.

Over the past three years, with the incredible support of generous hearts like yours, we've raised almost €6000. This funding has been a lifeline for our children, ensuring they have a safe place to call home and access to essential needs.

However, we now face a new and pressing challenge. The recent cost of living crisis has hit us hard, making it increasingly difficult to provide the nutritious food our children need to not just survive, but thrive. We believe every child deserves a balanced diet that fuels their dreams and aspirations.
