Help Foreign Exchange student's family.

 

Hello, my name is Terry Timms. I have been blessed to know this young man currently staying with a Host Family in Abernathy, Texas.  Last year AHS was blessed to enroll a foreign exchange student from Ukraine as a Junior. Viacheslav Tymoshenko (Slavic) is an amazing young man and has added so much to our local campus and community.  He has competed in Cross Country, UIL, and is currently running track!!  All money raised could be used in a variety of ways.  He could need an extended stay here in Abernathy or potentially need money to send home to his family.  The financial burden on his family will be felt for years to come.  Having been in war torn countries myself, I understand the amount of devastation and lasting emotional and financial burdens caused by war. All funds will be deposited into an established non-profit account overseen by myself and three others for transparency. So many so a desire to help; however, we sometimes do not know the way to do so. If you find it in your heart to help this young man and his family we appreciate you. Most of all please keep him and his family as well as others in Ukraine in your prayers.
